Education and participation sits at the heart of everything that we do at O'Driscoll Collective. All our projects across art forms has education considered from the start and weaved into the creation!
We continue to deliver Breakin & Dance Masterclasses as a majority of our work but have expanded over the years to deliver workshops across the following for young people, adults, mixed groups, CPD & all educational settings: Performance, Spoken word & Writing, Drama, Fitness, SEND focus, NEET focus & School Curriculum based delivery. They’re open, they’re engaging, and I’ve already booked them for another programme. A particular highlight was when a group of 10 year old boys came into the room and started racing each other. In a flash, Jamaal designed a racing game which integrated ‘popping and breakin’’, making use of the energy, and essentially co-producing the activity with the young people. Brilliant."
